Promoted by like-minded professionals with passion for agriculture and having rich experience in Agriculture Value chain. The objective is to improve farmers’ lives through meaningful solutions in agricultural equipment, implements and services space.
Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Private Limited (Akshaya Agri) provides mechanization solutions and services in the non-tractor area to the Agriculture Sector. Specialization to provide full range of solutions that are at technology driven and provide significant benefits to the farmers in the field of agriculture.

Satish Nadiger has co-promoted the company Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (Akshaya Agri) along with like-minded Agriculture Industry Professionals with rich experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Information Technology. Akshaya Agri is incorporated with an objective of providing niche solutions to cater to growing mechanization requirements in Agriculture Sector. Satish has over 30 years of experience in managing and leading businesses with over 20 years in Ag Industry with John Deere India Private Limited and Deere & Company, a global leader in Agriculture Mechanization. During his career with John Deere India (JDI), Satish led John Deere India business as CEO and Managing Director (Country Manager) for a period of seven years. During this period, working with a team of motivated leaders, he successfully turned around JDI business to be a highly profitable over a billion-dollar business. The turnaround was done in a sustainable way by building a stronger product portfolio, connecting the customers and channel partners, and building an engaged and inspired team. Prior to that Satish was on the forefront in leading JDI business as Finance Director, Managing Strategy and supporting implementation of all the business activities in India since year 2000. In his last job at John Deere, Satish served as one of the Global Finance Directors of Deere & Company supporting over twelve-billion-dollar business and also leading business improvement in European Markets. Along with being a qualified Cost and Works Accountant, Satish also has a commerce degree from Karnataka University. His previous experiences include over 10 years stint with Larsen and Toubro Limited. He has also attended several executive training programs including Global Advanced Management Program conducted by ISB Hyderabad and Kellogg Institute.

Abhijit Varade

Abhijit Varade has co-promoted the company Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (Akshaya Agri) along with like-minded Agriculture Industry Professionals with rich experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Information Technology. Akshaya Agri is incorporated with an objective of providing niche solutions to cater to growing mechanization requirements in Agriculture Sector. Abhijit has over 25 years of experience in organization development of Global Technology Center, Factory Operations, Spare Parts Operations, developing & establishing High performing COE teams with proven global recognized people leadership. In the capacity of Business Director, John Deere Technology Center India, Abhijit managed business operations for IT enabled Engineering Services with USD 250 Mn revenues, specializing in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Process Design, Quality and Technology Administration. He managed the operations with very cost competitive rates, aligned strategy with stakeholders, high delivery quality with significant IP contributions to enterprise and led the organization as India’s Top 50 Great Place to Work and Top 3 Career Management for three consecutive years. During his stint at John Deere Parts Distribution Center, Nagpur – Abhijit started and operationalized Worldwide Global Parts Processes for Material Planning, India Parts Distribution Center Operations and Customer Support. He also led the recovery through initial challenges & stabilized parts operations. At John Deere Sirhind Works, Patiala he started a new factory operation for John Deere Combines in India, created strong relationships between the factories, channel partners, internal and external customers for driving business results and managed the initial production and product challenges for new product and operations. Abhijit did his Industrial Engineering followed by a master’s in business administration from Nagpur University. His previous experiences include over 10 years with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd & Tata Motors Ltd. He has also attended several executive training programs conducted by ISB Hyderabad and London Business School.

Robesh Kumar Maity

Robesh Maity has co-promoted the company Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (Akshaya Agri) along with like-minded Agriculture Industry Professionals with rich experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Information Technology. Akshaya Agri is incorporated with an objective of providing niche solutions to cater to growing mechanization requirements in Agriculture Sector. Robesh spent 38 years in R&D & Innovation for Tractors, Farm Equipment and Automotive. Out of which last 20 years were for R&D of Tractors 20 – 430 HP for India and Global Markets. Also worked for Technologies and Solutions for Smart Farming, suitable for small farm holders of India. He travelled globally, primarily in USA, Brazil, Korea, Japan, South East Asia, China, Srilanka etc. In his 14 years of Career with JD India, he tailored building R&D setup for Tractor Engineering for Global Small Utility Tractor as a Head, and later as a Director India Tractor Engineering. He held assignment at Product Engineering Center, Waterloo, USA. He also held positions of Chairman of Intellectual Property Committee in JD India. He was Vice President, Tractor PD at M&M for 50-125 HP Tractors, responsibilities included technology collaborations with TYM, Korea and Mitsubishi Agricultural, Japan. Also contributed there as Chief Engineer – Precision Agriculture Technologies. In earlier part of career, he was in stream of Automobile Engineering at Mahindra and General Motors India Ltd. Lastly, he worked as an expert consultant for integrating Hydrostatic Transmission for Tractors and Farm Equipment at Danfoss India. Robesh is a Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1983.

Nilesh Pathak

Nilesh Pathak has co-promoted the company Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (Akshaya Agri) along with like-minded Agriculture Industry Professionals with rich experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Information Technology. Akshaya Agri is incorporated with an objective of providing niche solutions to cater to growing mechanization requirements in Agriculture Sector.
Nilesh has over 20 years of diverse experience in Global Technology Center, Factory Operations, Manufacturing, HR, IT, developing & establishing High performing COE teams with proven global recognized people leadership.
During his career with John Deere India (JDI), Nilesh managed business operations for IT enabled large Engineering Services in the areas of product design, manufacturing process design, advanced manufacturing with more than 1000 engineers. He managed the operations with very cost competitive rates, aligned strategy with stakeholders, high delivery quality with significant IP contributions to enterprise and contributed through his leadership in the organization to become India’s Top 50 Great Place to Work and Top 3 Career Management for three consecutive years. Nilesh established the culture of innovation, resulting in his department filing more than 100 patents in the span of 12 months. He established the advanced manufacturing practices by establishing the competency teams and state of the art research & development lab. He has been into the leadership positions in HR and IT departments of Technology Center.
Nilesh is a Mechanical Engineer and has completed his Post Graduate Certification from IIM, Indore. His previous experiences include over 5 years with Tata Motors Ltd.
Nilesh has served as Management Committee member in SAE India and led SAE India Off Highway Forum. As lead of the forum, he provided the leadership to establish national level student competition, TIFAN (Technology and Innovation for Agriculture Nurturing).

Amit Talwar

Amit Talwar has co-promoted the company Akshaya Agri Equipment & Services Pvt. Ltd. (Akshaya Agri) along with like-minded Agriculture Industry Professionals with rich experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Information Technology. Akshaya Agri is incorporated with an objective of providing niche solutions to cater to growing mechanization requirements in Agriculture Sector.
Amit has more than 25 years of multi-geography experience spanning Project Management, Information Technology Strategy & Scale Up, Operational Excellence, GIC Setup, Technology Disruption and Global Support.
During his career with John Deere India (JDI), Amit managed GIC / Business Facing teams in the areas of Information Technology and created Digital Footprints for Business Transformation in the Geographies of Asia (India / China), South America (Brazil / Mexico) and Canada. He managed the operations with very cost competitive rates, aligned strategy with stakeholders, high delivery quality. He also managed the Electronic Software / Hardware (Embedded System group at the Technology Center) as part of a developmental Assignment. His focus on people / empowerment, lead to his organizations in India / Mexico get to the Great Place to Work (Top 50 in India / Top 5 in Mexico ) as part of the Larger Organizations there. Amit made key contributions in various Enterprise Initiatives – Brand Ambassador for approximately 4 years as well as a selected member of the Regional Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Amit is a Computer Engineer and has completed his Post Graduate Certification from NMIMS, Mumbai. His previous experience includes various international assignments during his almost 10 years’ experience with Large Information Technology Firms such as Zensar Technologies etc.
Amit has attended several executive training programs conducted by ISB Hyderabad and London Business School.

Our Higher Purpose

“अन्नदाता सुखी भव् II” (the provider of food must lead a bountiful living) is a purpose cherished to reflect our commitment, passion, and emotion to Agriculture Community at large. A few years ago, during my journey in agriculture industry, we were discussing developing 2nd green revolution in India and comparing that with what was accomplished during 1st green revolution. One of the members with rich knowledge of farming and strong connection to farmers passionately talked about what India should definitely accomplish with 2nd green revolution. He advocated that though India ensured significant improvement in food grain production and became self-sufficient, the farmers income did not improve significantly, and it was very unevenly distributed. He therefore passionately appealed that in 2nd green revolution we must ensure farmers must get a fair share of improvement. The passion with which he spoke and based on my own experience, I thought we must always keep this in mind. Hence we have a lot of passion to deliver on our higher purpose “अन्नदाता सुखी भव् II”. This will be always the North Star for Akshaya Agri.
